From shutter clicks to sensory tools—how creativity, ADHD, and healing led to something bigger.

Hi, I’m Emily.I’m an artist, a photographer, a mom, a deep feeler, and a bit of a beautifully chaotic brain. I also live with ADHD, PTSD, and a handful of wonderfully quirky neurodivergent traits that shape everything I create—and everything I needed but couldn’t find.

That’s why I created WeBe Sensory.

🎨 My Creative Brain & Sensory World

Art has always been my safe place. Photography gave me a way to see the world differently—through details, emotion, texture, light. But living in a brain that never stops can be exhausting, especially in a world that doesn’t always understand what neurodivergence feels like.

I grew up sensitive. To sound. To touch. To energy.I was a daydreamer, a doer, a forgetter, a starter-of-many-things.I wasn’t broken. I was just wired differently.

🧠 A Personal Need for Sensory Support

Like many neurodivergent people, I didn’t realize I had ADHD until adulthood. PTSD added another layer—creating waves of overwhelm, anxiety, and shutdown that felt impossible to explain. I needed tools. Not just therapy tools, but real, tactile, comforting tools to help my nervous system reset. There weren’t enough resources that felt inviting, creative, affirming—especially for families like mine. So I started building them.

✨ Why WeBe Sensory Exists

WeBe Sensory was born from a blend of art, love, neurodivergence, and the stubborn belief that all brains deserve support—and a little magic. It’s a space where:

  • Sensory tools aren’t boring or clinical

  • Neurodivergence is celebrated, not shamed

  • Families can find real, functional, fun tools to help kids (and adults) feel more at home in their own skin

Everything we curate is selected with lived experience and heart. I test fidgets. I design stickers and sensory-friendly art. I obsess over textures and sound levels and which product feels best for an anxious hand or a busy brain.

💖 From Me to You

Whether you’re here for your child, your partner, your classroom, or your own beautiful brain—you belong here.WeBe Sensory is about community. About comfort. About giving people the tools we wish we had sooner.

You don’t have to be “fixed.” You don’t have to fit in.You just need space to feel, tools to help you regulate, and the freedom to be exactly who you are.

And if no one’s told you lately—your brain is not too much. It’s just enough.

Thanks for being part of the WeBe family.
